…. think for themselves, appreciate ideas, are always curious to know what’s the real deal, and want the kind of town that others want to live in.
The best of people try to be the best; interested in their city – its families, neighborhoods, businesses, amenities, and infrastructure – and it is those business owners who, when they hang out a shingle, stand by that promise of what they’re offering, whether it’s goods or services – who make us a part of their market.
And that, we have to appreciate!
The best of people are individuals, each different in so many ways, but all with a common desire: They want a community that knows where its going, and why, and how it will get there; where transparency exists, and the expressions of reasonable dissent on actions or ideas, when needed, are welcomed.
And the best of people don’t always follow the herd; how can they, when they think for themselves?

As a voluntary, state chartered, non-profit organization, the Paris Texas Chamber does not demand dues or fees, nor do we accept tax dollars from governmental units that you’ve paid various taxes, which always seem to increase annually.
We appreciate our American value of free speech, so we try to be an independent voice for those of us who have little-to-no choice in how their tax dollars are spent.
From our beginning, the Paris Texas Chamber of Commerce has sought out the hidden supplementary to the main argument for what Paris does or does not do. We look for the cul-de-sacs on Paris’ proposed road to progress.
For over 40-years, we’ve known that helping people and cities succeed is our priority, and we want to make sure we can extend that success to you – and to Paris.
